When Etienne Aigner founded the luxury leather brand of the same name in the 1960s, he captured the attitude towards life during this period with his exclusive creations. The chianti red accessories became in-demand cult objects and turned into the statement pieces of the 60s and 70s, as well as part of the current AIGNER DNA. This is characterised by the highest quality standards and the balance between tradition, innovation and zeitgeist. In the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, the sophisticated luxury DNA of the brand with its typical Heritage character is reflected in the Alessia Bag, among others. This is deeply rooted in AIGNER’s traditional silhouette, the doctor’s bag and re-interpretation of the popular Aurora line. The love of the Alessia Bag lies in the detail: for example, the handle of the bag is lavishly woven with leather by hand near Florence. The vintage frame closure provides the sophisticated, timeless design. The high-quality, finely pearl-grained leather naturally also comes from Italy – “La dolce vita“ in perfection, with two sizes available. In addition to classic Burgundy, the Alessia Bag in elegant Black and the seasonal colour Nougat is not only a must-have for the season, but also a long-lasting collector’s (heirloom) piece.
The Fiorentina Bag also bears the luxury label ‘Heritage’ from AIGNER and combines so many timeless modern elements that one can only list them. It comes in two design variations – in a combination of Icon Cover and top-grain leather or in a clean top-grain leather variant, can be carried as a day and evening bag in your hand and worn as a crossbody bag, and, along with a trendy belt bag version, you can also choose an edgy special edition with studs.
In addition, it casually combines traditional style elements such as a classic ring detail with the characteristic AIGNER screw. Its continuously manufactured leather frame and its open edges are also a particularly high-quality feature from the Italian workshop.
